Officer Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department joined me recently to talk about a few different topics related to his department and the work they’re doing in our community.

Today I’m delighted to be joined by Officer Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department. I’ve been a proud supporter of the Burbank Police Department and their foundation for many years and I’m proud to help them give back to our community. I wanted Derek to join me to talk about some great things they’re doing in the community and how all of us can help them, too.

If you see something that doesn’t look right, it probably isn’t.

On October 5, the BPD will be hosting a Family Fun Day at Johnny Carson Park. There will be live demonstrations, vehicle displays, face painting, vendors, a car show, and much more. The Kiwanis Club will also put on a great pancake breakfast.

As far as citizens of our community are concerned, Officer Green just asks us to keep our eyes and ears open and be aware of our surroundings. We’re a big city with a small-town community and communication is key to keeping crime down. If you see something that doesn’t look right, it probably isn’t. Let them know about any suspicious activity going on by calling the BPD (but don’t call 911 unless it’s an emergency).

If you have any questions for me in the meantime, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
