Where: Pershing Square Park, Downtown

Get your skate on without the cold nose and frozen fingers, thanks to LA’s beautiful winter weather. We might not get snow in Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a little bit of ice here and there! Head to the Holiday Ice Rink in Pershing Square (Downtown LA) for a truly magical skating experience.

There’s another outdoor skating opportunity over in South Park at LA Live. LA Kings Holiday Ice features a huge tree and an LED light show!

Winter Wonderland at The Grove

Where: The Grove LA

The Grove is open all year round, but it’s especially fun during the holiday season, thanks to its 100-foot Christmas tree, Santa House, nightly snowfall at 7pm and 8pm, and Tuesday night Pet Photos. Winter Wonderland runs from November through December 25. (Pet photos end December 11.)

Hollywood Christmas Parade

Where: Hollywood

You don’t have to celebrate Christmas to have a jolly good time at one of LA’s most timeless traditions. Running for almost 9 decades, the Parade features everything from floats and bands to equestrians and celebrities. You can purchase reserved grandstand seats ahead of time or simply find curbside seating the day of.

When: Dec 24

Where: Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Downtown

On December 24, kickstart the holiday (no matter which you choose to celebrate) with festivities in Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Downtown LA. LA’s biggest holiday show will feature performances from 20+ choirs, ensembles, and dance troupes.
