Some thoughts on how you can achieve discipline in your business.

February is here, and it's time to focus on the things that matter most in today's market. As a real estate professional, one of the most critical things you can do is cultivate discipline and accountability in your daily routine. To help you achieve this goal and make the most of your time and effort, I am sharing a few ideas for what to focus on.

1. Make time for prospecting. One of the most effective ways to stay on track is to block out time for your prospecting. Aim to spend two hours each day on this task and shoot for having five conversations in an hour. Time blocking helps you stay focused, prioritize your tasks, and make the most of your time.

2. Don’t forget about lead follow-up. In today's fast-paced market, your “speed to lead” is critical, so don't forget to follow up with your leads. You need to reach out to new clients within five minutes. This shows them that you're prompt, responsive, and dedicated to their needs. A simple but effective way to make an impression is to send them a calendar link and offer to meet them at a nearby Starbucks. This personal touch can go a long way in building rapport and trust with your clients.

3. Don’t worry about finding the perfect property. Remember, you're not going to find a perfect property for your clients. Instead, focus on things that are going to help you make a bigger impact on your clients' lives.

4. Have the right people around you. Surround yourself with other real estate professionals who are also prospecting. This will give you the support, motivation, and inspiration you need to succeed.
