Consistent calls, emails, and open houses are just among the things that made all the difference.

How did your first quarter in real estate go? Q1 went really well for us, and so a couple of my clients reached out recently to ask how we did it. Since we’re now moving into the second quarter, I thought it’d be a great time to break down exactly what worked. If you're looking to build some momentum heading into Q2, here’s what helped us start the year strong.

1. Calls made a difference. A big part of our momentum came from simply picking up the phone. We focused on staying in touch with past clients and asking for referrals. My coach reminded me that 20+ real estate conversations a day should be the goal, and that’s been our focus. This consistency led to promising results.

2. Postcards sparked interest. Sending “Just Sold: postcards around our listings also helped. People pay attention to what’s happening in their neighborhood, and those cards have reminded them we’re active and available.

We focused on staying in touch with past clients and asking for referrals.

3. We stayed connected. Following up with outside buyers from past transactions also brought in opportunities. A lot of agents let those contacts fall off, but we’ve kept them on our email list and some have circled back with questions.

4. Flyers and hotline signs pulled in leads. We’ve seen steady activity from printed flyers paired with a hotline sign rider. The easy access to listing info kept engagement strong.

5. Open houses delivered. Open houses also continued to perform. At one in Dornoch, we had great foot traffic with five homes on either side and ten across the street. A lot of neighbors came by, hoping someone they knew would move in.

As we look ahead to the next quarter, I’m always open to sharing more insights to help you kick it off strong. If you’d like to talk more or have questions, feel free to reach out. Just give me a call at 818-953-5300 or send an email to brad@bradkorb.com. I’m happy to help.
