SHOPPING

Shopping in L.A. is truly an adventure—you could spend an entire afternoon just marveling at the window displays in Beverly Hills or strolling through the city's glamorous retail districts. For the full Los Angeles shopping experience, start by exploring the high-end retailers at The Grove, which features picturesque brick streets and elaborate fountains that are perfect for an Instagram moment.

For a more luxurious experience that will have you feeling like a celebrity, pay a visit to the illustrious shops along Rodeo Drive. And if you're looking to support locally owned L.A. businesses, you can't go wrong with spots like the Broome Street General Store, Necromance, or The Santee Alley.

DINING

A whirlwind of international flavors, American favorites, and Cali-inspired influences come together to create L.A.'s world-renowned food scene. Here, you'll uncover everything from James Beard-award winning eateries to longtime standbys that evoke memories of old Hollywood.

Looking for recommendations? You can't go wrong with Kismet, a casual stop that's influenced by classic Mediterranean dishes. For all-day breakfast, stop by Sqirl to sample their extravagant flavor-filled toast combos. And if you want to rub elbows with the rich and famous, Dan Tana's and The Nice Guy should be at the top of your list.

ENTERTAINMENT

Los Angeles is known for its iconic sights—and as the movie capital of the world, this city has plenty to do and see! Some of the area's most famous attractions include Disneyland, Universal Studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, and the Queen Mary.

The L.A. area also has its fair share of museums that are definitely worth a visit. Take some time to explore the 40,000-year-old La Brea Tar Pits, learn all about cars at the Petersen Automotive Museum, or broaden your cultural horizons at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

OUTDOOR FUN

Get ready to have some fun in the California sun! L.A. is home to dozens of parks that are ideal for relaxation, recreation, or a little bit of both. Start out by visiting the iconic Griffith Park and Observatory, which boasts some of the best views of the city. The Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area features everything from lotus ponds to athletic courts. And for all things aquatic, don't miss out on Echo Lake.

Los Angeles is also a quick drive to coastal destinations like the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, and Long Beach.
