Sharing the latest data comparisons for our real estate market.

There are some big differences between the July 2021 and July 2022 markets, and they may affect your buying and/or selling abilities! Therefore, we’ll share an update and compare data from the two markets for the Burbank, Glendale, and North Hollywood areas.

In July 2021, we had 199 home sales. This July, sales dropped and we only had 132. The average sales price last year was $970,000. This year, prices rose by 7% to $1,047,000.

The average price per square foot last year was $615. That number rose by 3% in the last 12 months to $633 per square foot.

Interest rates last year were 2.987% and increased by 77% to 5.302% in July 2022.  The good news is that although interest rates reached over 6% this year, they're now decreasing and are close to 5.3%.
