Four reasons why now is a great time to buy even as interest rates rise.

Interest rates are rising, so why is it still a great time to buy? I have four reasons to share with you about why right now is actually a good time to try to buy a house. 

1. Kids are now back in school. What does that have to do with you? Lots of families have to move during summer to relocate before their kids start school. That period is over, which means less buyer competition. 

2.Many buyers don’t have to pay full price anymore. There are fewer buyers for the sellers, which means there’s now room to bargain when you make an offer. 

3. You can now ask the seller to help with closing costs. Something like this wasn’t possible in the recent red-hot market. Now, in many circumstances, sellers are willing to assist with this. 

4. You can consider buying down your interest rate. Even though rates are rising, there are things you can do to lower them, like asking for discount points. You have options.
